Biography

Birchall “Bert” Pearson had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1934 British Empire Games 4×110 yards Relay (with the non-Olympians Allan Poole, Frank Nicks and Bill Christie). In the 1934 British Empire Games Pearson was eliminated in the semi-finals of the 220 yards and in the heats of the 100 yards.

Personal Bests: 100 – 10.4 (1932); 200 – 21.4y (1933).
