Biography

At the Pan American Games Edmundo Warnke finished fourth in the 5,000 metres in 1971 and sixth in the 5K and 10K in 1975. In 1979 he finished fifth in the Pan Am marathon. At the 1972 München Olympics Warnke was eliminated in the heats of the 5,000 metres and four years later also went out in the heats of the 5K and 10K. Warnke lived and trained in Germany for several years and participated in West German championships in the 1970s, earning four national titles over different distances in cross-country races.

Personal Bests: 5000 – 13:36.76 (1976); 10000 – 28:18.10 (1976).
