Biography

Éliane Dudal’s track and field career started in earnest after World War II and, in 1947, she joined Racing CF, where she would remain until her retirement. Specializing in the long jump, she made her international début for France that same year, but the pinnacle of her career came in 1952. That year, she became the French national long jump champion and was selected for her country’s delegation to the Helsinki Olympics, where she was eliminated in the qualifying round. She continued to represent France internationally until the end of the year, earning five caps total, before retiring from active competition.
