Biography

Armanno Favalli first played for US Cremonese in Third League and then played 125 matches with Brescia from 1960-65, scoring 17 goals. While with Brescia, Favalli was selected for the Italian team to play at the 1960 Roma Olympics but he did not play any matches. Favalli played in Serie A for only one season (1964/65) with US Foggia & Incedit. On 6 June 1965 he played the last match of the season, as Foggia & Incedit lost to Roma, 1-0, which also turned out to be his last match. Four days later he died in a car accident, stunning the Italian football world.
