Biography

Cesare Martin was a defender who played only with Torino FC, with them from 1919-36. He played in 354 matches, but scored only one goal, which came on 25 March 1923 in a home match against Virtus Bologna. He played in 1970 consecutive club matches from 29 February 1920 to 18 December 1927.

Martin won two Italian titles in 1927 and 1928, although the 1927 title was later revoked. In 1936 he helped Torino win the Coppa Italia. Martin played one match with the national team, coming on in the second half of a match against Czechoslovakia on 27 May 1923. He was a substitute at the 1924 Olympics but did not play.
