Biography

Ferenc Jesina competed first for BEAC, and later PTE (Bratislava). In 1908, he participated in the discus and javelin at the London Olympics but did not qualify for either final. After his sporting career, Jesina worked as a veterinarian surgeon in Szabolcs county, Törökszentmiklós, and then in Gödöllő, before being promoted to a royal veterinary advisor. In 1934 he changed his surname to Irmay.

Personal Bests: DT – 41.68 (1909); JT – 50.17 (1908).
