Biography

Antonio Brutti was a distance runner who ran the marathon at the 1972 München Olympics. He made his marathon début in June 1970, and later that year placed 12th in the marathon at the European Championships.

In Bruxelles, on 12 June 1972, Brutti set the Italian record, running 2-17:21.2, but he was unable to duplicate that time at München a few months later, where he finished 21st. During his career he earned four international caps. Brutti later became the President of the ASA Ascoli Piceno club.

Personal Best: Mar – 2-17:21.2 (1972).
