Biography
Margarito Pomposo was a Mexican long-distance runner who specialised in the marathon. Pomposo ran at the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics where he was the last of the 20 athletes to complete the course out of the 28 who started the race. Six years later he became the Mexican marathon champion with a winning time of 3-35:00.
