Biography

At the 1926 Central American and Caribbean Games Francisco Costas won the silver medal in the high jump with a clearance of 1.75 metres. Two years later Costas ran in the 100 metres and 200 metres at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics but was eliminated in the heats in both races. He was also scheduled to compete in the 4 × 400 metres relay and the high jump but did not start in either.
