Biography

Jacobus Hoogveld was a Dutch track and field athlete who represented UDI in Arnhem in the early 1900s. Hoogveld ran in the 100, 200, 400, and 1,600 metres medley relay at the 1908 London Olympics but did not advance from the heats in any of them. He also competed in both the long jump and the standing long jump at the London Games.
