Biography

Henri Thesingh was a Dutch track and field athlete who represented V&L in Den Haag during the 1920s. Thesingh specialised in the high jump, winning four consecutive titles in the event from 1925 to 1928. These performances earned him a place on the Dutch Olympic team for the 1928 Amsterdam Games but he finished down in 19th. Thesingh later studied in Berlin before working for the petroleum company Bataafsche Import Maatschappij in Curaçao.
