Biography

Johannes Viljoen had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1930 British Empire Games High Jump, 3rd in the 1930 British Empire Games Long Jump. In the 1930 British Empire Games 120 yards Hurdles he finished fourth but in the 1930 British Empire Games 220 yards as well as in the 1930 British Empire Games 440 yards Hurdles he was eliminated in the heats. He also competed in the final of the 1934 British Empire Games 120 yards Hurdles but did not finish the race.
