Biography

Knut Fredriksson was a javelin thrower who placed sixth at the 1960 Roma Olympics. He was ninth at the 1958 European Championship. Fredriksson was Swedish Champion in 1954 and 1958-60. His PR of 82.96 was set in 1959, and he was third that year on the world list, which moved him up to eighth on the all-time world list at the end of 1959. Frederiksson set four Swedish records between 1954 and 1959. He earned 19 international caps from 1952-60.
