Lennart Strandberg had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1938 European Championships 4×100 metres Relay (with Åke Stenqvist, Lennart Lindgren, and the non-Olympian Gösta Klemming), 3rd in the 1938 European Championships 100 metres.
