Biography

Oscar de Larrazábal won his first two bouts in the bantamweight division in boxing at the 1936 Berlin Olympics, before he lost to the American and eventual silver medallist Jackie Wilson by knockout after only 1:30 min of the first round. Later, de Larrazábal earned a law degree from the Far Eastern University in Manila and was admitted to the Bar in 1948. For the insurance company PhilAm, he supported potential migrants to the USA.
