Biography

Swedish long-distance runner Rudolf Wåhlin represented Djurgårdens IF in Stockholm and specialised in the marathon. Wåhlin finished second in the event at the 1913 Swedish athletics championships before winning the race the following year. He would also win the silver medal at the 1916 championships. After World War I he ran in the marathon at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics where he finished 23rd, which earned him a diploma of merit for finishing in the top 30.
