Biography

Alice Brown sprinted at both the 1984 and 1988 Olympics, winning a silver medal in the 100 metres at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and gold medals in both sprint relays. Brown also added a gold medal in the relay at the 1987 World Championships. A very fast starter, Brown was lead-off runner on those relays. Brown ran in college for Cal State Northridge. She was US Champion in the 100 in 1980 and won the 1980 Olympic Trials in the 100. Brown also placed second at the Nationals in the 100 in 1984 and 1986-87, in addition to the 1984 US Olympic Trials.

Personal Best: 100 – 10.92 (1988).
