Biography

Mary Washburn of the Millrose AA finished fourth in the 100m at the 1928 Final Trials and was, somewhat surprisingly selected for the Olympics over Anne Vrana, who had placed third at the Trials. Washburn was eliminated in the semi-finals in Amsterdam, but won a silver medal in the relay.

Personal Best: 100 – 12.4 (1929).
