Biography

Angie Wright-Scott ran the 400 metre hurdles at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, but failed to get past the first round. She made the US team by placing second at the 1984 Olympic Trials. Wright-Scott’s best finish at the US Nationals was third in 1984, also placing fifth in 1983. She ran in college for Florida State University, placing third in the NCAA Meet in 1983, and was a 15-time All-American. Wright-Scott was twice ranked in the US top 10, as #3 in 1984 and #6 in 1983. Wright-Scott later graduated from the University of Virginia with a law degree and became a practicing attorney in the Tampa area
