Biography

Ron Brown competed in only one major international, at the 1984 Olympic Games, held in his hometown of Los Angeles, where he finished fourth in the 100 metres and ran the second leg for the US 4x100 m relay team, which won the gold medal in a world record 37.83. After the Olympics, Brown joined the Los Angeles Rams and played there for five seasons, before joining the Los Angeles (Oakland) Raiders in 1990. Brown ended his football career after the 1991 season, playing one final season again with the Rams. Brown attended college at Arizona State University, where he concentrated on football.
