Biography

Jervis Burdick did not place at any of the three trial meets used to select US Olympians in 1912, but was still placed on the Olympic team in the high jump. Competing for the University of Pennsylvania, he had placed third in the high jump at the 1911 AAUs. He was IC4A high jump champion in 1910 and 1912, and shared the title in 1911.
