Biography

Arthur Roth was one of the first Boston natives to win the Boston Marathon, winning in 1916. He also placed second at Boston in 1920, which placed him on the Olympic team, and was fifth in 1914. He made his living as a tracer at an architect’s firm.

Personal Best: Mar – 2-27:17 (1916).
