Biography

Louis Scott was from Paterson, New Jersey. He was a distance runner who ran four events at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, the 5,000, 10K, 3K team race, and cross-country, winning a gold medal with the US team in the team race. Scott ran for the South Paterson AC. He made the 1912 Olympic team by finishing second in the 5,000 at the Eastern Olympic Trials.
