Justus Scrafford finished fourth in the 880y at the 1900 IC4A Meet, competing for Syracuse. Scrafford attended Syracuse from 1899-1902 and then studied at l’École des Beaux Artes in Paris. He returned to the states where he was a professor on the Syracuse faculty, teaching architectural and freehand drawing. He was a member of the American Institute of Architecture and the Société des Beaux Artes.
