Biography

Competing for the Finnish-American AC, Leo Sjogren won nine AAU walk championships between 1952-58, including four consecutive in the 50 km. walk from 1952-55. Sjogren competed at two Olympics in the 50 km walk, finishing 12th in 1956. He studied engineering and later became a toolmaker.

Personal Best: 50kmW – 4-30:57 (1955).
