Biography

Wendy Allen skied for the Mammoth Mountain Ski Club. In 1966 she won the Sun Valley Challenge Cup giant slalom, while in 1967 she placed second in the slalom at the US Championships, and also placed second that year at the Vail Alpine Holiday slalom. A technical skier, Allen competed for only one year on the World Cup circuit, 1967-68, with one podium finish in the slalom, and eight top 10 finishes, one in GS and seven in slalom.
