Biography

Yelena Belova made her international début at the 1991 World Championships, where she won golds in both the relay and team event and was seventh in the 7.5 km. At the 1992 Winter Olympics, Belova medaled in both events in which she competed, winning bronzes in both the 7.5 km and relay. She also won silver at the 1992 World Championships in the team event, while at the 1993 World Championships Belova won bronzes in the 7.5 km and relay. After finishing her sporting career in 1994, Belova worked as a hotel administrator and in 2005 began working with the ice hockey club Metallurg Magnitogorsk.
