Biography

Renata Carraretto was an Italian Alpine skier. Born in Cortina, she was Italian downhill champion in 1947, and the following year competed at the Sankt Moritz Winter Olympic Games, where she skied all three disciplines. In the same year she won the National Championships in the slalom, while in 1949 she finished second. She ended her career after that year, and then moved to Uruguay, where she died in 2000 at the age of 77.
