Laura McCabe was a cross-country skier who competed at the 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympics. She skied on the Fisher/Solomon Factory team for 11 years. McCabe was a long-distance specialist, winning several marathon events in the US, including the American Birkebeiner. She later became a ski coach with the Methow Valley Nordic Team, in northern Washington.
