Biography

Kathy Mulholland was primarily a sprinter. In short-track racing, she was US juvenile girls champion in 1955 and junior girls champion in 1956. At the 1959 Northeastern Regional Olympic Trials she won the 500 metres, qualifying her for the final US Olympic Trials for the 1960 team, at which she placed third to make the team. She died fairly young, shortly after turning 48.

Personal Best: 500 – 47.9 (1960).
