Biography

Audun Endestad was born in Norway but emigrated to the United States. He has always lived in Alaska, where he has become known as a big game guide, scout, and packer. He won 13 US titles in cross-country skiing and has won the Great American Ski Chase title six times. Endestad continues to compete in many sports at the masters level, including cross-country skiing, hiking, running, canoeing, cycling, and mountain climbing. Endestad married Judy Rabinowitz, who was also a cross-country skier on the 1984 US Olympic team.
