Biography

Peter Ferraro was one of twin brothers, both of whom played short parts of several seasons in the NHL. Peter played 92 NHL games with the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Boston Bruins, and Washington Capitols, while his brother, Chris, played 74 NHL games in all.

Peter Ferraro was drafted by the New York Rangers in the first round of the 1992 NHL draft but elected to attend the University of Maine, where he played two seasons. He then joined the Binghamton Rangers of the AHL (American Hockey League) and eventually played for several teams in both the AHL and IHL (International Hockey League). In 2005/06 Peter and Chris Ferraro both played for the DEG Metro Stars of the German League. Peter Ferraro ended his playing career with two seasons with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL (East Coast Hockey League), retiring in 2009. The twins later formed Ferraro Brothers Elite Hockey and ran that company in Bellmore, New York.
