Biography

Roberto Gamper was a tall and lanky goaltender who played for HC Bolzano for his entire career between 1962 and 1977. Domestically Gamper won only one Italian national title, after a play-off against Cortina, at the end of the 1972/73 season. With the national squad he was the back-up goalie at the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Olympics, where he played only one match. Gamper also competed at the 1966 World Championships.
