Lennart Hellman was a left winger who played for Sweden at the 1936 Winter Olympics. The Swedish team finished in a tie for fifth, but the event doubled as the European Championship and Hellman thus won a European bronze medal. He was capped 19 times in his international career. Hellman played his entire club career (1932-41) with Hammarby IF, winning two league titles. After he left the ice, he continued in hockey administration, serving as a team leader for the Swedish National Team.
