Biography

Slovenian-born Austrian cross-country skier Andreas Janc competed at the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Olympics. He finished 11th with the 4x10 km relay and 31st individually over 30 km, and 21st over 50 km. Four years later at Grenoble he came 13th with the relay and 31st over 15 km, and 13th over 50 km.

At the Austrian nationals Janc won 16 titles, eight times over 30 km (1961-62 and 1964-70), six times over 16 km (1962-67) and twice over 15 km (1968-69).
