Biography

A goalie, Nils Johansson played ice hockey with Djurgårdens IF from 1921-30. He won a Swedish title with them in 1926. Internationally, Johansson was the top Swedish goalie at the 1928 Winter Olympics, playing in four of the five games that Sweden played in that tournament and won a silver medal. As the Olympic tournament also doubled as World and European Championships, Johansson also won silver at the World Championships and gold at the European Championships that year.
