Biography

Czech-born Austrian ice hockey forward Horst Kakl played with Austria at the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Olympics. The team was eliminated in the group stage. In total, he won 29 international caps. Domestically, Kakl played with EC Klagenfurt and won the national title eight times in a row between 1964-71. In 1963 and 1964 he also participated in the Spengler Cup at Davos.
