Biography

Adolf Koxeder served as a brakeman for Erwin Thaler, the two winning multiple international medals together. Koxeder and Thaler rode to a bronze medal in the four-man at the 1963 World Championships, alongside Reinhold Durnthaler and Josef Nairz. After their Olympic silver medal at Innsbruck in the four-man, Koxeder and Thaler won European Championships in the two-man in 1965 and 1966, picking up a silver in the four-man in 1967. In 1996 Koxeder was awarded a Silver Medal for Services to the Austrian Republic.
