Biography

Vladimír Kýhos was a forward whose senior career lasted from 1974 to 1991. He played most of it in the Czechoslovakian League with CHZ Litvínov, although he played at times for Dukla Trenčín, VTJ Litoměřice, and HC Škoda Plzeň. His last four club years were spent in the Finnish Leagues, with JoKP Joensuu for three seasons and he played his final season with Kokkolan Hermes. Kýhos was selected by the Minnesota North Stars in the 7th round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft, but he never played professionally in North America. His only international appearance was at the 1984 Winter Olympics when he won a silver medal.
