Biography

Henri Contenet was a track rider who specialized in the motor-paced event. His biggest title was winning the French professional championship in 1903 in motor-paced, and he had several other podium finishes in the event at the French Championships. At the European Championships, he was second in 1902 and third in 1905. Later in his career he raced some six-day events, placing sixth in 1903 in New York, and riding two different six-days in Berlin in 1909.
