Biography

Clarence “Untouchable” Vinson was a bantamweight boxer who won a bronze medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He was US Champion at flyweight in 1997-98 and at bantamweight in 1999.

Vinson began a professional career in January 2001, defeating Adrian Valdez by unanimous decision. He had an odd pro career, winning his first 12 fights, and overall winning 17 bouts with only 2 losses, but he never fought for any major titles. He fought effectively through 2004, and then had only one bout in 2006, 2007, and 2009, winning all three, but he retired after defeating Robert DaLuz by unanimous decision in June 2009.
