Biography

Ervin Palmer competed in the 1932 curling demonstration events. He was on the Michigan team that placed eighth. Palmer was a member of the Detroit Curling Club. He attended the University of Michigan, and then earned a degree from the Detroit College of Law in 1895.

After law school, Palmer left for the Klondike in 1897 after gold had been found, and he stayed there for three years. Returning to Detroit, he became a partner of Palmer, Aldrich, and McMath. He served as a probate court judge from 1929-32. Palmer was killed in a car accident when he and his wife were returning from a Florida vacation.
