Han-Won Lee competed in taekwondo as a demonstration sport at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. He was a bantamweight who placed third in 1988 and fifth in 1992. He also competed at the 1991 Pan American Games and was US Champion as a bantamweight in 1982 and 1986-87.
Lee was a ninth-degree black belt in taekwondo. He owned and was the chief martial arts instructor at Han Lee’s Taekwondo Academy in Castle Rock, Centennial and Aurora, all suburbs of Denver.
