Seth Levin, the son of a ship’s mate, was entered in the 100 m dash at the Olympic Games in Stockholm but did not start. After he was discharged from military service in 1914, he worked as a chamber clerk for the customs office for several decades.
Levin was married three times. In 1918, he married his first wife, Dagny Estelle Lidner; with her he had a son and a daughter. His second wife was Anna Elisabeth Eleonora Tengroth; they had one daughter. In 1939, he married Evy Lucia Tolftina Hermansson. That marriage remained childless.
