Austrian ice hockey forward Max Moser played with Austria at the 1976 Innsbruck Winter Olympics. The team was eliminated in the group stage and placed eighth as second in the consolation round. Moser won 69 international caps, scoring 14 goals and 13 assists.
Domestically he played with Klagenfurter AC (1968-69 and 1979-80) and ATSE Graz (1969-79). He won national titles with Graz in 1975 and Klagenfurt in 1979 and 1980. Moser later turned to coaching youth teams, among others the Austrian youth national team in 1991. He later became sports director of Grazer HC.
