Ron Naslund was from Minneapolis but he went to Denver University. After graduation he continued to play amateur hockey in Minneapolis, notably with the Rochester Mustangs. He represented the United States at three World Championships (1966, ‘67, and ‘69) as well as at the 1972 Olympics.
