Biography

Cortina’s forward Giulio Oberhammer was an Italian ice hockey player who played his entire career with Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina. Oberhammer won seven Italian titles (1957, 1959, 1961-62, 1964-66) and, internationally, took part at the 1955 World Championship in Germany at the age of 20. The following year he was part of the Italian squad at the Cortina Winter Olympics and, after competing at the 1959 and 1961 World Championships, he ended his international career at the 1964 Innsbruck Winter Olympics.
