Biography

Gino Pasqualotto was a defenseman who skated for Italy at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics. Pasqualotto played most of his entire senior career with HC Bolzano in Italy, helping them win 10 Scudetto titles in Serie A of the Italian Hockey League, also adding one Alpenliga championship. He finished his career with two years with Bozen 84 in 1993-95. Pasqualotto was a very charismatic player, known for his wild ways, for which he was nicknamed “Crazy Horse”. In a ceremony in February 2019, HC Bolzano retired his jersey number 33.
