Biography

Austrian speed skater Ferdinand Preindl participated in the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Winter Olympics. He placed 21st over 500 metres and tied 25th over 1,500 metres. After World War II he attended the 1948 St. Moritz Winter Games, finishing 41st over 500 metres and 44th over 1,500 metres. His last documented competition was the 1949 Austrian nationals with unknown results.

Personal Bests: 500 – 46.0 (1936); 1500 – 2:29.0 (1936); 5000 – 9:41.0 (1935).
