Biography

Karel Růžička was a Czechoslovak bobsledder. Růžička and Josef Lanzendörfer won the silver medal in the two-man bobsleigh at the 1935 FIBT World Championships. The following year Růžička and Lanzendörfer competed in the same event at the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Olympics. The pair finished in 20th place. Růžička was also part of the Czechoslovak team that competed in the four-man bobsleigh but the team did not complete their first of four runs.
